Overview of StrataWall™
Build Strong Foundation of Soil Structures using StrataWall™
StrataWall™ is a precast concrete panel wall fascia for a reinforced soil structure. StrataWall™ is designed to give a positive connection with StrataGrid™ geogrids as a reinforcing material. The reinforced soil structure is a composite mass of non-plastic soil that is reinforced with StrataGrid™ geogrids. StrataWall™ panels are either T-shaped or square shaped with a thickness of 180 mm. It comes with a plain face or embellishment on the outer face.
The StrataWall™ system is a cost effective alternative to reinforced structure with steel reinforcements or conventional reinforced cement concrete retaining walls and ideal for walls of great height. StrataWall™ are placed with a slight inward batter and are wet cast with M30 grade of concrete using Fe 500 reinforcement cage to tackle various handling & design stresses. The StrataWall™ panels are precast close the project site for ease of logistics and faster construction. | StrataGrid™ (Geogrid)
StrataGrid™ (geogrid) is a high performance soil reinforcement solution that is produced by knitting high-tenacity polyester yarn into a dimensionally-stable network of apertures to form a geometric grid.
| Strata Panel
The panels are the outermost face of the reinforced soil structure. Their primary objective is to protect the structure backfill material from erosion. Since the panels are essentially the exteriors of a reinforced soil system, they also required to serve an aesthetic purpose and these precast panels often have an embossed surface as per the client’s requirements. These panels can either be manufactured at a precast facility or cast at project site using metallic wooden moulds.
